Well I am not gonna lie. I saw the latest Pokémon Presents on August 3, 2022 and I was mind blown. It seems that there is a new gimmick in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as well as new regional forms and new Pokémon as well.

When there was a cutscene between the Gym leader battle between the player and the Gym leader Grusha, the new Pokemon, Cetitan was revealed. I believe it looks like a Ice type due to it being based on a Narwhal which are located in arctic oceans. The new regional form is Wooper which is Poison/Ground, as well as FIdough which is a Fairy type like Snubbull line. Miraidon, and Koraidon have new forms that the player can access which can depend on how you ride them. On top of that, there is a new mechanic, called Terastalizing which works similar to Dynamax, and Mega evolution, but instead the Pokémon is crystalized as well as having a type change. For example, say you gave a Terastalizing to Azumarill that knows grass knot but turns into a Grass type? It would be useful in competitive.
